🌸 Explore a Surreal Paper World

Imagine playing a game with the objects on your desk. Help navigate the inch-and-a-half tall Little Ghost through a sprawling world collaged from the items knocked off a bookshelf. Travel across a massive desk, over a perilous trashcan, and climb into a computer — interacting with office supplies & unique characters along the way.

It’s a big world for a Little Ghost to explore: a giant spiderweb of connected rooms and regions, complete quests to unlock new sections of the map, and backtrack with new abilities to reach previously unattainable areas.

đź‘ľ Full of Secret Hidden Spaces

You’re about to embark on an epic journey out of someone’s sketchbook and across their room. Dangerous quests and puzzles, deadly traps and vicious foes all await you. You’d better start looking for help.

Seek out powerups & friends. Unlock new moves. Collect Tarot cards & magickal tools. You’re even looking for the scattered pieces of the soundtrack — as you’re listening to it.

Remember to look carefully — the mixed-media style of Little Ghost offers a ton of really fun ways to hide items in unexpected places!

🕹️ Retro-Inspired Platforming

Little Ghost focuses on platform challenges rather than combat. Your strength is the unique way you move through the air.

Inspired by Peach’s floating jump from Super Mario Bros. 2 (1988 USA) the platforming in Little Ghost has been built around the ~FLOAT~ mechanic, which allows for roughly 2 seconds of midair movement like a horizontal jetpack.

Enemies with movement patterns inspired by NES classics, a nonlinear network of rooms on an interconnected map, and an overall retro approach to gamefeel make this a true Metroidvania even without the guns and swords.

The platforming will become difficult as you progress, though never unfair.
